My Testimony part 2

At July 2001, I entered Singapore Polytechnic to study IT as my diploma. Quite number of my classmates are christian, but I din do anything at all. Until end of year1, I think one of my friends got to know about Christ, and she converted and join the SP Navigators. She would pass me notes and bible study books to read. But at that time, I was busy with my CCA (CSCC - Community Service and Cultural Club). I just din anything about God, although I know he is around me.

Then in Jun 2004, I entered BMT(Basic Military Training) to start my National Service. Some of my bunkmates are from CityHarvest. I would pray to God sometimes and read Bible sometimes like on and off. I am really a indiscipline child of God. When I passed out from BMT, I was posted to Changi Naval Base as RP, now known as Sea Soldier(sth like Marines). This is the place where I got to know my shepherd, Jeremy. He is from Hope of God Singapore. For a quite number of times, he invited me to church, I rejected him saying that I was busy, I had something to do. At that time, what I really feel is that I have not much personal time. I think it is not necessary for me to go Church, I can survive on my own.

After much persuasion/invitation from Jeremy, I went there. My first time after so long, I went to Church. But it was not the end to my disobedience. I just simply tell Jeremy that I got something and last minute ps him and not attend service. I remember Hendra was my shepherd, I refused to pick up his call everytime I felt like not attending service without any reason and now I felt very guilty wherever I see him.

After alot of this same kind of disobedience happen again and again. One fine day, I was playing games on my PC, changing games over games, things get boring. Then suddenly in my mind, this verse pop out "Ecc 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end." Then I realised Only with God, will I then filled my heart fully.

Now I attend Hope Church Singapore regularly every saturday afternoon and I would even go for caregroup.
